Policy on Double Major
February 2002
Students interested in doing a double master's in Computer Science and another program must meet the same department admission requirements as any other CS master's applicant. Admission is competitive and will be on a limited enrollment. Once admitted to the program as a double major, they will not have to do a thesis in our program. They will need to complete the following:
- CS 401
- CS 414
- CS 455
- Two (2) other CS 400-level lecture courses
- Four (4) CS 500-level lecture courses
The student must first get permission from and a double major form signed by their current program's graduate advisor. Then they must meet with our Graduate Program Director to have the form filled out and signed by him. A copy of this completed form must be submitted to the master's program assistant for it to be filed.
